Auxetic structures exhibit abnormal behaviour, expanding when stretched and vice versa. Studying them and their unique properties, we created a one-size fits all insulating cup sleeve, a cozy furniture piece that saves material, a cast/support and even an avant-garde jewellery set that grows with you. As part of our learning, we had to 3D print prototypes and model printable structures.
